Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights states:

No one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

In view of the conditions in refugee camps on the Greek islands, we wonder whether refugees were somehow secretly exempted from this regulation!?

As bridgebuilders we stand up for the fact that human rights really do apply to everyone! The EU must live up to its values and also offer protection to people in need of protection.
That is why, together with the Refugee Law Clinic Berlin, we have developed an online tool which enables refugees to quickly and easily check whether an application for interim protection measures before the European Court of Human Rights could be successful for them.
