The bridgebuilder Foundation e.V., in cooperation with the Kantorka Foundation, supported a project to promote sustainable nutrition and rural development. The aim was to strengthen food security, create income opportunities, and reduce youth migration from rural areas by planting fruit trees.

Objective
The project focused on empowering youth and disadvantaged groups in rural areas to counter rural-urban migration. By planting fruit trees, the project promoted food security, income generation, environmental awareness, and local education.
Implementation

7,000 fruit tree seedlings were planted.

8 tree nurseries were established.

10 training sessions on sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and environmental awareness were conducted.
